Our production consists of several parts, each equally important for the end result:

Construction/design         As many of our customers are experts in electronics we provide them with know-how about mechanics, which is our specialty.

Working in a CAD/CAM environment we are able to solve most tasks, from preparing internal production data to produce panels and electronic cases among other things from scratch. In our workshop we can immediately produce a prototype for the customer to test for functions with the electronics it is intended for. Except for prototypes we mainly manufacture series up to a few hundred or in rare cases thousand pieces depending on the amount and details.

Production materials        We work mainly with aluminum and steel plates from 0,5 – 6mm thickness and stainless steel from 0,5 – 2,5mm. The same materials are also used in our production in shapes of tubes, extruded profiles and solid pieces.

Sheet metal working        Cutting of simple shape plates is performed via a HACO 2,5m guillotine shear or a Fasti 1m shear. In different presses corners can be cut or provided with radius.

We punch holes and outer linings of more complicated shapes in a CNC-controlled Pullmax 6C punching machine. The sheet metal details are formed with an Ursviken Optiflex press brake or a smaller Amada press brake. Metal can also be formed by rolling to vaulted shapes.

A hydraulic press is used to mount fasteners as press screws, nuts and distances etc in the plate details.

When many of the details we produce have high finish demands, actions are taken to prevent unintended scratches and other marks during all of the manufacturing process.

Milling/cutting work           Sheet metal details as well as extruded profiles and solid parts are shaped in one of three CNC-controlled milling machines, a Bridgeport Interact 720, a Bridgeport VMC 600 and a Proto Trac MX3. In two of the above a high speed head can be mounted for cutting with HSS tools. In those machines holes are drilled, threads are cut and surfaces are flattened or shaped with high tolerances.

To saw out working pieces we use a Kaltenbach SKL 400 NA and a Kaltenbach KKS 370.

For manual working there are several vertical drilling machines, a Colchester Triumph 200 turning lathe and a smaller revolver lathe of Swedish make.

Surface treatment             Also, in our workshop we have an anodizing plant where we anodize aluminum with color dying, as well as performing hard-anodizing of aluminum. Bath measures in the line is 2,8 x 1 x 0,9m. Today we can dye with the colors black, blue, green, gold, red, purple and lime. Hard anodizing is strictly a technical surface treatment method upon which one can have no aesthetical demands. It is chosen out of one or more of three characteristics of the resulting surface; of the surface’s hardness, wearing qualities or electrical isolation. The process is quite similar to usual anodizing except that it is possible to increase the thickness of the oxide layer.

Screen printing                 We perform silk screen printing to provide front plates, displays and other details with texts and logos. Printing is possible on flat surfaces of metal, plastics, glass etc. One of our specialties is to dye the aluminum-oxide with the printing ink before sealing it. It gives front panels high wearing strength and a different finish from a panel printed with enamel paint. Plastics and glass is printed with special enamel paints. Thin plastic overlays can also be screen printed with adhesive for mounting at frame plates.

External suppliers             Due to years of good co-working we have suppliers that make us capable of offering our customers welding, wet as well as powder painting, engraving and other sorts of surface treatment as electroplating with zinc or chrome.
